University of Tampa Recognized by the Peace Corps

ϰ was listed in the Peace Corps’ 2025 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities list.

Ranked at No. 22 in the medium college category, ϰ has had 68 alums go on to serve the Peace Corps since its founding in 1961.

Ranked at No. 22 in the medium college category, ϰ has had 68 alums go on to serve the Peace Corps since its founding in 1961, with six Spartans currently serving in Costa Rica, Kenya, Sierra Leone, South Africa and Tanzania.

“This remarkable achievement highlights your institution's commendable efforts in producing skilled Volunteers for the Peace Corps' various global opportunities,” said Kasey Thomas, public affairs specialist for the Peace Corps. “Your dedication to the agency's mission of promoting a better understanding of Americans among the people it serves abroad has been instrumental to our success.”

The 2025 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities large, medium, and small colleges and graduate school rankings are based on an annual Volunteer survey. The top historical rankings are based on the total number of alumni who have served in the Peace Corps since 1961.
